I’m curious but not overly alarmed by this. We already knew that Eagle had been spying on them constantly. I’m not sure WHAT he saw that let him know that Lava Lamp doesn’t usually use this weapon, AND can use magic, AND can use that magic much better than the abba tambourines. Lava Lamp just what have you been doing in front of windows these days? I would love to know.
It seems that Fai has a good idea though. I’m not sure if he saw it too, or if he just sensed Lava Lamp throwing a lot of magic around in his bedroom (because we’ve SEEN him sense magic before), or if the idea of Syaoran + Magic is giving him bad eye related memories.
